All inventions are discoveries that is because all inventions work according to natural laws and natural laws are not new. What can be invented can be considered as something that already exists but hidden. An inventor does not create anything new but discovers what works through trial and error. What can be created is limited by Natural laws. Fantasies are the only way to escape these limitations but even these have limits.
